Hello!
I am thrilled you are here and look forward to learning about you, your family and photography vision. Developing real relationships with my clients and learning about what makes your crew unique helps with conveying those attributes through your session. Watching and documenting the growth of your family is a true blessing and honor -a task that I do not take lightly. I thank you for allowing me to be a part of it and look forward to creating incredible memories, lots of laughs and stunning heirloom pieces for your home.
Now, lets go make some magic!
Blessings,
Piper
My life in photography began at a very young age. Back in the 80’s my mother began a successful wedding and photography business on the beautiful Panama City Beach. Being the second oldest of eight children, it was understood that I did my part to help provide for our family. My mother started me off with assisting her at events, which really meant toting her bags around and helping with loading/unloading supplies.
My mom used every opportunity to teach me about lighting, equipment, hand coloring images, reception setups and even sewing. Soon, she trusted me to begin second shooting events. By thirteen I had won my first major portrait competition and I was hooked! If we were not out photographing or preparing for the next event, we were out fishing. My family also has very deep roots in the charter and commercial fishing industry.
I can truly say that childhood on the gulf was truly amazing and I am so happy to be raising our crew along the same waters that I grew up on. Shortly before I completed my Masters degree in Nursing, I married the man of my dreams and we have created a beautiful life and family together - we welcomed our 6th baby this past fall! Between our busy schedules, our family is most often found on the water, fishing blue water tournaments or just taking in the amazing sunsets.
Part of our regular summer wedding crew (2004). My mom is second from left. This was taken just after a Panama City Beach wedding. Their reception was held at a nearby gazebo and guests danced the night away under the stars. These were some very rewarding and busy summers, with days averaging 16 hours for us during the peak season. In the summer of 2016, I began a deep dive into studio photography
Don't be like me and the only family photo you have is from 4 years ago! We are now a family of eight!
This was a 3 day fishing tournament that our family went on. Our youngest at the time (little guy to my right) was my biggest cheerleader!
Passing on my sewing knowledge to one of my daughters. I often make clothing and props for my sessions!
Another beautiful day on the Gulf of Mexico! Trolling while heading out from Pensacola Beach in this photo.
Carrying on the tradition and teaching my oldest all I know about photography. This is my oldest daughter, Allura. We were on location at Sacred Heart Hospital for a commercial photography session.
